"The name Daniel is a Biblical baby name. In the Bible, the meaning of the name Daniel is: Judgment of God; God my judge". The day I turned 25, I was okay with the idea of dying. 25 was the worst birthday of my entire life. I was at a job I didn't want to have, far away from the people I loved, being trained for a position I didn't want to be in. I had no direction in life. I remember thinking to myself leading up to midnight, as I was on 2nd shift, "Im about to be 25 and I have nothing to show for it." I was a failure. My supervisor actually let me leave early because she could see how distraught I was. Plus I was holding up the production line anyway. I went to go clock out, and as I got to the time clock, midnight struck. March 20th had arrived. I went to my car, and had the most legendary breakdown that I have ever had. However. This tape ain't about that. Sometimes you get so low to the ground that life forces you to make a 180. Thats what this tape is. I could've gave you another "That Good Grief" but hell no. Fact of the matter is, God ain't through with me yet. Shortly after my breakdown, I began writing this EP. It ain't a sad project. Cause I'm sick of being sad. This project is me squaring up with depression. I reached out to people more. I prayed more, etc. Life ain't perfect. It never will be. Im finally cool with that. This project is about where i'm at a year later. From "That Good Grief" to "That Good Good". I give you, "To Be Judged".
